Taller del Sol realiza desde 1986 trabajos de creación, generalmente piezas únicas, utilizando principalmente el cartón piedra (material obtenido a partir de papel reciclado), pero dependiendo del objeto a efectuar, también se emplean otros materiales como: madera, metal, poliestireno, gomaespuma o telas.
